After about a week of not knowing if this blog thing is for e or not, I decided to give it a another go! So I woke up this morning with new motivation, and shuffled down the stairs for some breakfast and coffee!
I had some vanilla Greek yogurt, a little granola, and some frozen fruit. Because the fruit is frozen, it causes the yogurt to begin to freeze giving it a slight frozen yogurt consistency…. soooo good!
For my workout, I had a pretty intense strength training session yesterday so i did about 15 minutes of legs and abs, and am planning on taking Lila for a long walk before work! For now, I must get some Spanish and math homework done.
Have a wonderful Wenesday morning!
I was up and running by 6:30 this morning on my way to the gym! Before heading out I grabbed a yoplait light to give me a little boost of energy! I love the peach flavor! Me, my brother, and few guys we work out with met up for an hour of strength training. The abs circuit is always the hardest!
When I got home, I made me a simple breakfast….
A toasted Oroweat double-fiber English muffin, a little chunky pb, tiny bit of grape jelly, and some frozen mixed fruit! I used a dollop of fat-free cool whip to sweeten up my fruit a little bit. And, of course, I had some coffee with my pumpkin spice creamer!
Now to get some Spanish homework done! I have an essay to write about Spain, and it has to be completely in Spanish. Talk about a challenge!
Have a wonderful Wednesday! Let’s get this day started!
So after getting a little bit of school done and catching up on a few Food Network shows, I decided it was time for some lunch! Well we are running low on options in my house at this point, so I went for the leftovers…..
I had a piece of leftover grilled chicken(topped with some buffalo sauce), some roasted potatoes, and a piece of corn on the cob!
I may have finished my lunch off with 1/2 of one of my home made pumpkin scones! I soon had to rush out of the house for my Spanish class after this! After Spanish I ran a few errands with my mom and picked up this…..
I didn’t think it was possible, but I may love Christmas even more now! He is amazing!
When I got home, I helped my mom finish up dinner, before my brother and sister had to run off the soccer practice!
Roasted chicken, green beans, and corn on the cob. It’s kinda, almost a repeat of my lunch, but still good! After cleaning up the kitchen my mom and I ran my favorite errand of today….. We got my senior pictures!!! I’m so excited! I’m at the point where I just want to graduate NOW! But I’m not gonna rush it! Our ride home did end with a quick stop by Sweet Frog! The best self-serve fro-yo in my opinion!
When we returned home, we reviewed the pictures! I was impressed, and it just builds my excitement for graduation!
I’m ending the night with some quality time with my sweet pup, Lila!
Day 1 of blogging already has me excited and ready to continue this for a long time!
First off today, I woke up and did a 35 minute ab routine, and added a 5 minute fast-paced cardio circuit! After getting myself ready for the day ahead I made myself a simple little breakfast of toast, peanut butter, yogurt, and COFFEE!!
So basically wheat toast, a yoplait light, and some Better’n’Butter peanut butter! Better’n’Butter is a low-fat, low-calorie alternative to regular peanut butter. It has 100 calories for 2 TBS. and only 2 grams of fat! It still has the sweet taste of peanut butter, but not the same texture, but is still great for the obvious nutritional changes! It’s hard to find, but fortunately my local Target carries it!
I also feel as if I should prepare you all for my
love obsession with coffee! I don’t think I can go a day without! Okay, maybe thats a little over the top, but I seriously do need my coffee! I love experimenting with new sugar-free coffee creamers! My latest find is the seasonal pumpkin spice creamer by Coffee-Mate!
Hope everyone has a fantastic Tuesday! I’ll be back later for some more blogging!
Hello blog world! This is my very first post for my blog that I have been wanting to start up for a while now! The whole purpose of starting this blog is to have a way of showing everyone my love for baking, fitness, and health! I used to be a competitive swimmer(hence swimming in the title), and It gave me an all-around love for exercise and a competitive edge. Through swimming, i had to learn how to take care of my body, and feed it properly! After years of soaking up this information, I realized the love I have for healthy living. I hope to use my future college degree in some way to pursue my passion. I love to create and recreate recipes in the kitchen, and spend a lot of time cooking and baking! I hope you all enjoy reading my blog!
Happy blogging! Have a super day!
